There are quite a few places to stay in Wrexham town from as grand as the Ramada Plaza, which is about £90 a night to other, less expensive ones. There are two Premier Inns in Wrexham, called Centre and North. Both are equally as good but the one in the centre has the best selection of pubs for food and drink. There is also a Travelodge. The Wynnstay Hotel is in the middle of Wrexham and is also recommended.
A bit further away is the Holt Lodge. Bit further still the Buck Hotel at Bangor Is Y Coed and the Hand Hotel in Chirk (not the Llangollen one). Both of those are about 30minutes from the field course.
There are also some nice hotels on the route to Chester from Wrexham. These are the Trevor Arms, the Rossett Hall and the Grosvenor Pulford. All are less than 25 mins from the course.
Chester, which has tons of hotels and places to eat and drink is around 35mins to the course.
There is a decent B&B a couple of mins from the course too, called the Hope Mountain B&B. Link to their website is below.
